Serving Size: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Maisie Jane Almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • Honey or sweetener of choice if desired
  • 1 tbsp vanilla if desired
  • Cheese cloth or very fine strainer

Instructions:

  • Soak almonds in water for at least 5 hours, overnight is preferred! If you would like to speed up the process, soak in hot water for 2 hours
  • Once done soaking, put almonds and water in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. The less almond bits the better.
  • Strain almond/water mixture through cheese cloth until your desired smoothness is reached.
  • Return strained almond milk back to (cleaned) blender and add desired amount of sweetener. We are using 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tsp of vanilla.
  • Enjoy for up to 4 days. Keep refrigerated.

Please note:

This recipe will not keep as long as store bought almond milk as it has no preservatives.

You can double this recipe too. Just make sure to do 1 part almonds to 4 parts water for the best favor.
